Therapy Success Story

Mr. B. admitted to Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation after a stroke hospitalized him for several weeks. The stroke caused decreased balance, participation in activities of daily living, safety awareness and difficulty eating. Upon admission, Mr. B. was evaluated and treated by physical, occupational and speech therapies. His overall goal was to return to prior level of living and discharge home safely and independently. After several weeks of physical, occupational and speech therapy, Mr. B. was able to discharge home safely. He regained overall strength, independent care, increased balance, safety awareness and eating his choice of food! We were happy to welcome Mr. B. to the facility and even happier to wish him well as he returned home! Come visit us anytime, our doors are always open!
