Therapy Success Story

Mrs. Donna C. admitted to MNR following a recent hospitalization. She was declining at home and unable to meet her daily needs. While at MNR, Mrs. C actively participated in physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to adapt to her current status.

She quickly learned to safely use the sliding board to assist with transfers due to her non-weightbearing status and demonstrated improved carryover of safety awareness. Mrs. C. increased her upper body strength with exercises and ability to independently dress herself again.

With her improved skills noted in and out of therapy, Mrs. C should transition well back to her home environment with assistance as needed. Congratulations to Mrs. C., we look forward to hearing about your progress at home!
