Short-Term Success Stories
Ms.R. admitted to MNR for recent fall with fracture and memory difficulties. She lived at home with her daughter and her goal was to return there after a successful rehabilitation stay. Ms. R worked through several barriers including dialysis 3x/wk, regularly scheduled doctor visits and non-weight bearing abilities in her upper extremity upon admission. Through hard work, strong motivation and family and staff support, Ms. R was able to discharge home in less than 60 days. She had regained strength and movement in her upper body, walking with a cane for assistance and able to recall safety techniques and problem solving skills. Ms. R. was cooperative with therapy activities and dedicated to her goals! Congrats to Ms. R and her success! We wish her well at home and look forward to her visits.
