Happy Feet

Recently, Mary Wood and Doug Rodgers attended an event for Happy Feet at Grace Fellowship Church. Happy Feet is an organization that provides name brand shoes to students throughout Union County (and more) at no charge. The program (with a partnership with Shoe Carnival) ensures that children have shoes that fit and are comfortable, so Mary and Doug helped with sizing and selection with all Union County Elementary students. Once the shoes arrive, Mary and Doug will go back and deliver them to each student. Rodgers stated “This is one of my favorite things to do. These kids love the shoes and it is just a terrific program.” Morganfield Nursing and Rehabilitation was well represented!
